Welcome to the Tidewater Orchid Society
Our Purpose
To promote public interest in and appreciation of orchids by undertaking exhibits, shows, and other promotions, and will endeavor to increase members’ knowledge of orchids and their culture by lectures, workshops, and educational programs.
TOS is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations under Section 501 (3) of the Internal Revenue Code (or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code).
We are back to our regular meeting location at the administration building at the Norfolk Botanical Garden. Due to limited parking; use the main parking lot and walk down to our meeting location.

Some of the newer folks may be a bit overwhelmed by all the material on this website and are looking for some simple answers on how to take care of orchids.
